Yussuf Hussein Ahmed: Family Disowns Body of Missing Wajir MCA after Postmortem Results

Della Mole Member of County Assembly (MCA), Yussuf Hussein Ahmed, who went missing a month ago, was initially believed to have been found after a body was discovered in Lake Yahud within the county.

The body, bearing signs of severe torture—ears and nose chopped off, eyes gouged out, and extensive burns—was thought to be that of the missing lawmaker. An emotional scene unfolded when his family positively identified the mutilated body at a local mortuary.

However, postmortem results have now revealed that the body does not belong to the MCA.

Two separate DNA tests were conducted, and a private pathologist confirmed that the results were negative, ruling out the body as that of Yussuf Hussein Ahmed.
