Woman Abducted Alongside 3 Murdered Eastleigh Women Narrates How She Survived Ordeal

The Directorate of Criminal Investigations has made strides in its probe into the murder of a mother, daughter, and niece, whose bodies were discovered in separate locations.

The investigative unit successfully located a woman who was reportedly kidnapped alongside the three victims but managed to escape.

What did survivor abducted with Eastleigh women say?

The woman informed the DCI that she was with the three victims shortly before their gruesome murders.

A Citizen TV report states that the survivor, of Somali origin, alleged she was locked up in the same room with the three individuals shortly after their abduction.

She further stated that her life was spared after her family raised a KSh 1 million ransom and deposited it in an Ethiopian bank account as directed by the abductors.

However, police are conducting further investigations to determine whether the woman is saying the truth or may be an accomplice in the crime.

What did the DCI find about murder of Eastleigh women?

The DCI disclosed that they recovered a vehicle believed to have been used in the abduction of the three women.

The vehicle was reportedly recovered at Wakulima Market in Kamukunji, Nairobi. Authorities suspect that after the murders of the three women, the suspects drove to Bahati, where they discarded the body of Nusayba Abdi.

They then drove to Pangani, where they disposed of Amina Abdirashid’s body, before ultimately dumping Wasir Daud’s body in the Chumvi area of Machakos County.
