The Wells Fargo Human Resource officer left Nairobi for Gem to attend a funeral but was waylaid on his way home.
CCTV footage has now emerged showing the moment two unidentified men abandoned Ayieko’s pick-up near a petrol station in Sabatia.
From the footage seen by TUKO.co.ke, Ayieko’s double-cabin Ford vehicle was driven into the petrol station a few minutes past 6pm on Saturday, October 19.
The two men sat in the orange pickup for around five minutes before walking away, with one of them being seen carrying two carrier bags
The mysterious relocation of the car, over 385 kilometres away from Gem, raised concerns, prompting a deeper investigation.
