Why did Silver Bells Academy miss KPSEA examinations?
Ingaasi explained that the papers were mistakenly sent to the wrong centre, and efforts to retrieve them in time proved unsuccessful.
“We were informed that someone mistakenly took our exam papers to Moiben. They traced the papers and found them at a school—I can’t recall which one. But by the time they were located, it was too late, and the papers were already sealed, so we were told we couldn’t sit for the exam,” she explained.
She recalled contacting an education official who informed her that the students might receive replacement exam papers by Friday or Monday after the main examination period concludes.
“Someone from the ministry told me my students will be given the tests on Friday or Monday but I can’t remember their identities. I tend to forget a lot,” she said.

Notably, as per a parent who spoke to TUKO.co.ke, no exam supervisors were assigned to the school to oversee the exams, further compounding the situation.
Has Silver Bells Academy been registered?
The director, who suffers from hypertension, described the physical and emotional toll the ordeal has taken on her.
Ingaasi, who claimed to have witnessed the school’s registration process before being hospitalised for health issues, emphasised that the academy is officially registered.
“This situation is complicated because my students were prepared for the exams. I walked a lot yesterday, and now my blood pressure is high—I have hypertension. I’m not sure what happened because I’m certain they were registered before I was hospitalised. I’ve been unwell,” the director recounted.
The school boss stated that she advised the learners to keep on reporting to school because they had paid for meals.
“The children had paid for their meals, and since we have a cook, I encouraged them to keep coming for their meals because I understand how tough the economy is right now, and I can’t take someone’s money unfairly,” said Ingaasi.
Ingaasi plans to visit the Ministry of Education offices on Wednesday, October 30, to seek a resolution to the issue.
