She urged the people of the region to pray for Kindiki, so he can complete the remaining three years of the Kenya Kwanza regime before the next general elections.
“We had two sons of the mountain, one has served for two years and the other hopefully he is going to serve for the next three years. Let us encourage each other, let us pray for him and support him,” Chege said.
The Member of Parliament emphasized that they cannot afford to be in the opposition, urging them to work with the Kenya Kwanza regime in order to benefit from government projects.
“We are talking about health care; we are talking about education and our security. Where can we get things if we are not in the government?” she asserted.

Chege urged the people of Mt. Kenya to uphold peace, calm, and unity.
She called on the region’s Senators and MPs who supported Gachagua’s impeachment to respectfully explain their reasons and the implications of a power shift, assuring that they would understand.
“I am on the ground, and the ground is calm. I want to urge the leaders who were at my position in Parliament and Senate to let us be humble. Let us explain to these people politely without chest thumping, and this person have no problem,” Chege added.
