Rigathi Gachagua Insists He’s Still Deputy President Despite Impeachment

Although he admits to still feeling weak, he believes he can manage the discomfort at home.

Gachagua alleges that President William Ruto intended to harm him due to the circumstances surrounding his illness and the treatment he received from the government.

He claims that all of his security personnel were withdrawn, along with the government property he owned. He also expressed that his condition could have been life-threatening had he delayed seeking medical attention by even 20 minutes.

Despite these challenges, Gachagua maintains that he remains the deputy president of Kenya, citing stay orders issued by two judges from Kirinyaga and Mililmani Law Courts, respectively.
