Principal Secretary for the State Department for Parliamentary Affairs within the Office of the Prime Cabinet Secretary (OPCS) Aurelia Chepkirui Rono has visited her former high school.

The civil servant visited Kongotik Girls Secondary School in Bomet East Sub-County, Bomet County.
She dressed in style as she donned the high school’s full uniform, which perfectly fit her.
“Speaking to the students, she emphasized the importance of hard work and reminded them that “education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today,” read the caption on the post.

The girls excitedly received the alumna who was all smiles as she interacted with them during her visit.

They also attentively listened to her as she delivered her speech, encouraging the Form 4 candidates.
“She encouraged the candidates to remain focused and resilient as they approach the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations. She showed confidence in their potential to excel and make their communities proud,” the post continued.
She visited other schools within the area, spreading a similar message of hope to the KCSE candidates.
Rono visited Lekimbo Secondary School in Longisa ward and Chemaner High School to advise the students.
