Pastor Dorcas Rigathi has taken to social media to share an update on how her family is coping after her husband, Rigathi Gachagua, was impeached.

While Kenyans marked Friday, November 1, a holiday as Kithure Kindiki was sworn in as the new deputy president, Dorcas, her husband, and her sons were at home.
They enjoyed lovely family moments while the country marked a new era following the appointment of Kindiki.
She penned a moving message giving glory to God despite her and her family’s rough moments.

It is easy to look at the challenges and circumstances surrounding you and forget the cardinal rule of a believer. Today, my family and I pray thanksgiving, understanding that God remains sovereign, whether He saves us from fire or not, Daniel 3:16-18. We give thanks to God for His awesome faithfulness. We call Him, Ebenezer, for this far we celebrate Him. We have seen His mercy and experienced His goodness. Glory and honour be to His Holy name,” she wrote.

She went on to share a verse from the Bible emphasising that the family’s strength can only be found in God.
Dorcas shared a photo of her adorable family relaxed on green grass, looking happy and calm.
They were all smiles as the picture captured the serene environment the family relaxed in.
