“My baby was still in bed as I dressed up as usual in preparation for work,” she said, describing the surreal moments before she left her home.

Believing her baby would be safe at home, Maureen asked her sister to watch the infant while she went to work.

Tragically, her hopes were dashed when an unknown woman entered their home, picked up the baby, and vanished without a trace.

Her life was turned upside down when she returned home and found the little one missing.

“I thought my baby would go back to sleep while I was away,” Maureen explained, her voice filled with anguish. “I never imagined something like this could happen to me.”

She asked around the neighbourhood and was told the stranger had been seen at a local eatery with the baby.

However, none of them could explain where the strange woman went after buying chips.
