In a tweet on Tuesday, October 15, Kagure appeared to borrow a leave from Manchester United football, which has not been performing well recently.

According to Kagure, despite the Manchester United team’s frequent defeats, its players always get psyched up and hope for a win.
The Nairobi politician, who is a die-hard fan of the Red Devils, alluded that her team will be on a winning trajectory with time.
Using the Manchester United team’s performance as an analogy, Kagure urged Kenyans to keep dreaming despite minor setbacks.
“My favourite team, Man-U, gets beaten nearly every other weekend but still turns up, all psyched to win, and they could win eventually. What’s stopping you from pursuing your dreams because of a minor setback? Wacha za ovyo naniii. Arise, show up and thrive,” Kagure said.
