Daniel Ravonga Sendi desired to build his parents’ house and was smiling as he saw the progress of the structure.

The 24-year-old who graduated from St. Paul’s University last was fortunate to land a teaching job.

How much is Ravonga’s parents’ house worth?

Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, Ravonga revealed his payslip and shared how he sacrificed to save for the project.

“I earn KSh 15,000 per month, but I purposed to build my parents a suitable and hospitable house. The little money I earn from a private school I teach did not stop me from pursuing my dream. I thank God I have built them a KSh 90,000 mud house, better than the one they lived in,” he excitedly said.

Ravonga said he was not yet done as he wishes to build a permanent house for his parents despite the efforts he has put in their current house.

The house has yet to have windows and a door, which he said will be fitted shortly.

In 2022, Kiprop arrived in Canada, where he quickly secured a job as a bank cleaner, earning KSh 187,000 per month.

He also took on a part-time role as a caregiver at a home for the elderly, adding an extra KSh 68,000 to his monthly earnings.

He built a house for his parents and bought them a car, gestures that were met with immense gratitude and pride.
