Kisii Man Declared Dead after Disappearing 34 Years Ago Found In Baringo

It is a moment of celebration as a man from Bonyando Sub-location in Kisii County who went missing years ago has reunited with his family.

Joseph Nyaanga Andima disappeared under unclear circumstances over three decades ago, leaving his family worried and heartbroken.

His concerned family launched a search for him over the years, in hospitals and morgues, hoping to find him.

However, after several unfruitful attempts to find their kin, his family gave up and declared him dead.

“At 35, Andima embarked on a journey that led him to work as a plant operator during the construction of Eldoret Airport, Kabartonjo – Kipsaraman road, and Kirandich dam in the 1990s.

Eventually, he settled in Kabartonjo town, remarried, and started a new family,” a post read.

Kisii family travels to Kabartonjo to reunite with Andima

Loruk OCS Moses Ondigi recognised Andima as they came from the same area in Kisii county.

He helped the missing elderly man reunite with his original family he had not seen for 34 years, bringing joy to his people.’

“The family travelled to Kabartonjo to be reunited with their long-lost father and take him back to his ancestral home to meet with the rest of his relatives, marking a joyous occasion witnessed by Kelyo Location senior chief Symon Cheraste,” the post continued.
