The single father recalled discovering the sad situation after waking up late at night to start his parenting shift.
“I woke up around 10pm so that I could watch over the two boys while my lover took a rest, but I did not find her. I thought maybe she was in another room. After 10 minutes, I called her, but she did not respond. I took one of our sons to give him milk.
After the twins had slept, I decided to do the dishes. As I washed the utensils, I came across a book. As I perused through the pages, I found a letter from her. On that note, she explained why she had left and asked me never to call her. When her parents call, I should not say anything,” Njoroge said.

He has tried calling her, but her phone has been off, and hence, no communication has occurred between the two.
