A grisly accident occurred last night in the Ndarugo area when a truck collided with a van, which had four people on board, headed to Laikipia County.
Speaking to Paxson TV, the driver of the van revealed that it was new. The family had just picked it up from Mombasa and were headed home to Wiyumiririe in Laikipia.

The driver who escaped the terrible accident with injuries said a father and children were on board.
“I am Samuel Njoroge, and I drove this vehicle from Mombasa. The lorry hit our vehicle from the back and fell on it. I don’t even know if my brother there is still alive. But the kids are doing okay. We had just picked up the vehicle from Mombasa,” the shaken driver said.
At the time of speaking to the press, he could not confirm whether the father of the kids was still alive.
