The abductors, identified as sisters from Kitui, had taken the little girl far from her home.
After a tense period of searching, authorities located Mitchell, where she had been left behind as the women allegedly set out to target another victim.
She disclosed that Juja police, working alongside detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), had taken the three individuals into custody.
Investigations into the case have been launched, with unconfirmed reports suggesting that one of the suspects lives in Witethie.
Nungari shared her gratitude for the child’s safety, noting that Mitchell was understandably shaken but physically unharmed.
