Profile of Kevin Gachagua
Kevin Gachagua is the son of Rigathi Gachagua and Pastor Dorcas Rigathi.
According to Who Owns Kenya, Kevin graduated with a degree in Software Engineering. However, he has kept a low public profile.
Kevin gained public attention when he accompanied his father during the senate impeachment hearings.
Keith Ikinu Gachagua’s profile
Keith Ikinu Gachagua is the second son do the impeached deputy president.
Keith is a professional doctor who graduated from the University of Nairobi with a Bachelor of Medicine and a Bachelor of Surgery in 2019.
He went to Alliance Boys High School after scoring an A plain of 86.92 points in his Kenya Certificate for Secondary Education (KCSE).

Keith was ranked 17th among the top students during the 2010 KCSE.
He also accompanied his father during the Senate impeachment hearing.
Businesses owned by Keith Ikinu Gachagua
According to Daily Nation, Keith acquired the iconic Treetops and Outspan Hotels.
The Treetops Hotel, famed for witnessing Queen Elizabeth’s ascension to the throne 72 years ago, will also be a significant relic of the Mau Mau movement in Nyeri.
Located roughly 10 kilometres from the hotel, within the Aberdare Forest, is a fig tree that served as a post office for the Mau Mau movement.
On April 4, at the Nyeri National Polytechnic’s fourth graduation ceremony, Gachagua hinted at the hotels’ absorption.
He said the decision to buy the two historic hotels stemmed from a challenge he shared with the local business people.
Keith also runs and manages the businesses owned by the Gachagua family.

Which companies are run by Gachagu’s sons
Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has shared a list of 22 companies owned by his family and run by his two sons, Kevin and Keith, who are directors.
This was part of Gachagua’s defence amid an impeachment motion alleging that he acquired properties worth KSh 5.2 billion since taking office in 2022.
The list includes foundations, non-profit organisations, and businesses, many of which Gachagua claims have never traded or have no bank accounts.

What Rigathi Gachagua said about his sons
Rigathi Gachagua has defended his children against scrutiny over their investments, highlighting their commitment to local development.
The DP contrasted his children’s actions with those of wealthy individuals who invest offshore, questioning why their efforts to invest locally were frustrated.
He explained that his sons’ investments aim to spur growth in the tourism industry and create employment opportunities in Kenya.
