A section of Kenyans has stormed Kimani Ichung’wah’s Facebook page, criticizing him for backing the impeachment motion against Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.

What triggered the outrage by Kenyans?
It all started when Kikuyu Member of Parliament Kimani Ichung’wah posted on his Facebook account, wishing Kenyans a happy Mazingira Day.
In his post, he encouraged Kenyans to take action to protect both the country and the planet as a whole.
“Happy Mazingira Day! We are all stewards of environmental conservation. Take action today to protect the planet,” Ichung’wah statement read.
It seemed that Kenyans were waiting for this moment to express their opinions about the MP, as the majority largely ignored his message and focused instead on his role in the deputy president’s ouster.

Kenyans flooded Ichung’wah’s comment section, with some wishing him a happy Mazingira Day while others focused on reminding him of his involvement in Gachagua’s impeachment.
