A man has tickled netizens after taking his worn out dish scrubber to the tailor so that it can be mended.

In a video shared by Nairobi Juice on TikTok the hands of a tailor and a machine are seen hard at work to repair the scrubber.

How much does a scrubber cost?

“When the economy is hard, we have to adjust. Take it to the tailor…it is only KSh 10,” he said as the tailor continued repairing the scrubber, which was torn on both sides.

The scrubber is loved by many as they don’t have to use Steelwool, and its size fits in the hands so well. There are no specific times for the scrubber to last; different households have different needs in the number of dishes being washed, frequency

In most households, once the scrubber gets old, it is usually discarded, as they are not very expensive. Their price ranges from KSh 20 to KSh 50, depending on whether one gets them from hawkers, supermarkets, wholesale shops, and so on.

Kenyans who saw the video also wondered why he was handing on to it, and yet it was so cheap.
