Kenya Power Lists Areas to Be Affected By Blackouts on Sunday, October 27

Kenya Power and Lighting Company has listed several areas to experience power outages due to scheduled maintenance
The areas would include parts of Kisumu, Kajiaco, Kiambu, and Nairobi counties and will be affected for at least eight hours
Kiambu County will be the most impacted, with areas such as Kahawa Law Court, parts of Kamiti Prisons, and Shooting Range, among others, expected to experience prolonged power outages

The Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) has scheduled power disruptions for Sunday, October 27.

The outages will affect parts of Nairobi, Kajiado, Kisumu, and Kiambu counties, leaving these areas without electricity for up to nine hours.

2. Kisumu (9am – 5pm)

Obambo, Holo, Asat, Kolenyo, Kombewa, Akado, Riat, Bonde and neighbouring customers.

3. Kiambu (8am – 5pm)

Kamiti Ridge, Lucura, Kenflora, Ruturo, Kamwaki, Marion Schools, Kiguta Farm, Kenton Hotels, St. Antony School, Fig Tree, Part of Gatamaiyo Village, Wookcreek School, Rose Flower Est, Kahawa Law Court, Part of Kamiti Prisons, Mugumo Est, Shooting Range, Kiu Kenda, Part of Kiamumbi, Whole of Kirigiti, Kiu River School, Riabai Market, Mboi Kamiti, Kiaora Est, Migaa, Lioki, School, Kifisia Est, Kianjibi Est, Nyara Est, Karia Village, Kiambu High School, Kirima Farm, Muthithi Est, Gallot, Starehe Girls, Silver Garden Est, Limoro Est, Ngomongo Village, KIST College, Edenville, Mushrooms, Thindigua Est, Laurate School and adjacent customers.
