Nairobi – Several people are feared dead following the collapse of a building in Kahawa West, Nairobi county.
On Sunday, October 20, Kenya Redcross said several families are likely to be trapped inside the collapsed building.
They said rescue efforts are ongoing as authorities work to assess the extent of the damage and potential casualties.
“A multi-agency response team is currently responding to a building collapse in Kahawa West, Nairobi County, where people are feared trapped,” Kenya Red Cross said.
Unconfirmed reports from the residents indicate the building had been marked unsafe by NCA and people advised to vacate.
