Nairobi – Lawyer Nelson Havi has put incoming deputy president Rigathi Gachagua on notice over the political machinations that could be undertaken against him in the course of his tenure.

Kindiki, who served as the Interior Cabinet Secretary in the current regime since 2022, is taking over from Rigathi Gachagua, who parliament impeached last month.
With the new mandate and capacity on Kindiki’s shoulders, Havi has counselled him to be wary and learn from his deposed predecessor as he embarks on his new mandate.
“I wish Kindiki Kithure good luck in his new assignment as Deputy President. I say luck for several reasons. Prayers did not help his predecessor. I believe God does not listen to deceitful prayers. Further, he will be fought by the same people who propelled him this far,” said Havi.
