She disclosed that her style had earned her stares and questions in countries like the Czech Republic, France, Spain, and Germany.

“Someone asked me in the comment section why I carry baba on my back in a foreign country. Ahh, I am an African ooo!” she wrote.

In an interview with TUKO.co.ke, Nafula explained that while some people questioned her about safety, others were captivated by the custom.

“Some ask if I’m not scared she might fall,” she said, adding that her husband initially had concerns about the method.

However, he later embraced it after seeing how comfortable their daughter felt when carried in this manner.

She added that her partner has embraced the style and tried it himself over time.

The traditional African baby-carrying technique is both practical and culturally significant.

It allows mothers to keep their children close while leaving their hands free.

Nafula’s embrace of this cultural heritage abroad resonated with her social media fans, offering a sweet glimpse into African parenting traditions.
