Despite facing ongoing impeachment challenges, the second-in-command showed no signs of stress.

Gachagua arrived at the event on Sunday, October 13, marking the 34th anniversary of the church in a private helicopter. Pastor Dorcas Rigathi, his wife, accompanied him to the occasion.

“On this bright Sunday that the Lord has made, with my spouse Pastor Dorcas Rigathi, I am glad to join the ACK Diocese of Embu on the Diocesan 34th anniversary thanksgiving at Kigari Teachers’ Training College,” he said.

His choice of transport drew mixed reactions from the public, especially since it came just days after he faced impeachment by members of the National Assembly. Previously, he had typically used police or military helicopters.

Notably, President William Ruto cancelled his attendance at the same event at the last minute. In a video shared by Taifa Leo, Gachagua was seen dancing skillfully, leading a congregation of men during the service.
