A young teen identified as Ellyanne Githae has recalled the day she appeared on Citizen TV’s JKL show six years ago and broke down while talking about her absentee father.

When asked to speak about their father, Ellyanne said that her dad had told them that he didn’t want to live in Kenya as it was not a very good place.
“I met him in 2017, I had never met him before. He left us but now he gets us tickets every December to visit him,” she said.
“The first time I was very excited; it went well,” she said before adding that she didn know what else to say with a very heavy sigh.
