After his record-breaking season that saw him win the PFA Young Player of the Year, many started asking whether he could replicate his form in the second season.

What did Garnacho’s brother say about Palmer?

One such person was the brother of Manchester United forward Alejandro Garnacho, Roberto, who boldly claimed the England international wouldn’t even reach 10 non-penalty goals.

“Cole Palmer isn’t hitting 10 goals without penalties,” he said on his X account.

However, as things stand, Palmer is on his way to making him eat his words after his four-goal haul against Brighton this past weekend. The goals took his tally to six for the season, with only 15% of the games played. He also has four assists.

Roberto’s brother, meanwhile, has had a slow start to the season, scoring only once and assisting once. He is part of the Erik ten Hag squad that is under pressure to produce after collecting only seven points from their first six of the new campaign.
