Kenyans are yet again mourning the loss of another track talent following the passing of Clement Kemboi.

Kemboi died on Monday, October 7, after his body was found hanging from a tree in Iten, Elgeyo Marakwet County.
His death comes just a few hours after the country woke up to the news that former world U20 champion Kipyegon Bett had died at the Tenwek Hospital in Bomet County.
Who is Clement Kemboi?
Kemboi was an experienced middle-distance runner who specialised in the 3000m steeplechase. The born-1992 athlete shot into fame when he won gold in that discipline at the 2015 All-Africa Games in Brazzaville.
His personal best in the 3000m steeplechase is 8:10.65, which he ran at the Doha Diamond League in 2016.
