Nairobi – Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations linked the suspected killer of three Eastleigh to another murder in Lavington.

According to DCI, Hashim Dagane Muhumed is behind the murder of Deka Abdinoor Gorone, who went missing on October 24 before her body was found dumped at Lang’ata Cemetery.

CCTV footage has emerged, showing the last moment Deka was seen alive.

Citizen TV shared clear footage of Deka shopping at Quickmart Supermarket in Nairobi CBD on October 29.

After her shopping, the lady proceeded to a short-stay apartment in Lavington, where she was yet again captured by the CCTV cameras while entering the said premises.

According to detectives, the woman spent the night with Dagane at the apartment before he killed her.

From the CCTV footage, Dagane is seen leaving the apartment on October 31 with two black bags, which police suspect contained Deka’s remains, which were later dumped at Lang’ata Cemetery.

Footage from the apartment where the woman was killed collaborated with the DCI’s statement that it had been painted to conceal evidence.

“It has also been verified that after Dagane left the apartment, the owner discovered what had happened in his premises, went ahead and cleared the mess, had the rooms re-painted,” DCI said.
