Machakos – Outspoken human rights activist Boniface Mwangi has allegedly been abducted form his home.
In a statement, Mwangi’s wife, Njeri Mwangi, said the activist was abducted on Sunday, October 27 at 7.15 am.
According to Njeri, six uninformed people forcefully took her husband from his house without disclosing the reasons for their actions.
“This morning at around 7.15, six uninformed people went to courage base and forcefully took my husband from the house. I have no idea who, why, or where they have taken him,” Njeri stated.
Taking to social media, Hussein Khalid, also a renowned human rights activist, suspected the assailants were police officers from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).
