Which promises has Ruto fulfilled?

In an interview with Citizen TV on Wednesday, October 30, Duale cited the notable decrease in the prices of essential commodities like maize flour (unga) and fuel, both of which had surged.

The CS also highlighted the fertiliser subsidy programme which has seen the cost of the commodity reduce from KSh 7,500 to KSh 2,500 for a 50kg bag.

Duale further noted the Kenyan shilling had strengthened against the United States (US) dollar and other regional and international currencies.

“We said unga will come down, unga today is down, fuel is down, the dollar is down, the country is secure, there is cheap free fertilizer, we have employed 50,000 teachers. Those are the promises we have made, and we have fulfilled,” Duale explained.
