In an advert on its website, the county asked interested and qualified candidates to submit their academic and professional certificates by Wednesday, November 27.

“Pursuant to the provision of County Government Act, No. 17 of 2012 section 45, 59 (1) (b) the West Pokot County Public Service Board wishes to consider applications from highly qualified results-oriented and self-motivated Kenyan citizens for appointments to the following positions,” the advert stated.

The county asked candidates to apply for the positions through the Secretary, West Pokot County Public Service Board.

Applicants must attach copies of their detailed Curriculum Vitae, academic and professional certificates, testimonials, national identity card or passport, and clearance certificates indicating the position applied for on top of the envelope.

Which other organisations advertised jobs?

In other news, the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) declared 109 paid internship vacancies for diploma and bachelor’s degree graduates, with a Friday, November 22 deadline.

The commission revealed degree holders will be paid a monthly stipend of KSh 25,000, while diploma holders will earn KSh 20,000.

Elsewhere, World Vision Kenya advertised jobs on its website and asked interested and qualified candidates to apply by November 16.

Meru University of Science and Technology (MUST) also invited applications for several teaching positions on its website.
