The search for Dagane intensified after the women went missing, with detectives later recovering a vehicle allegedly used to transport the bodies near Wakulima House, next to Ena Coach in Nairobi’s CBD.
During interrogation, Dagane was linked to a fourth murder case involving Deka Abdinoor Gorone, whose body was found at Lang’ata Cemetery.
Gorone was reported missing on October 24 at the California Police Station, with CCTV footage capturing her last known movements on October 29, showing her shopping at a Quickmart supermarket in Nairobi.

Speaking in Parliament on Wednesday, November 7, Deputy Director of the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), John Onyango, disclosed further details about the suspect’s background.
Onyango revealed that Dagane, a Kenyan of Ethiopian origin, is suspected of having a violent criminal history, including the alleged murder of one of his wives and their three children in Ethiopia.
“He reportedly had a family in Ethiopia, where he was married to three wives and allegedly killed one of them,” Onyango stated, adding that the circumstances of Dagane’s release from custody in Ethiopia remain unclear.
The investigation is ongoing as detectives continue to gather evidence and piece together Dagane’s alleged involvement in these and potentially other violent crimes.
