Kiserian: Sorrow as Woman Is Brutally Killed in Wake of Femicide Crisis

A family in Kiserian in Kajiado county is reeling in shock following the brutal death of their kin, a 30-year-old woman who is one of the latest victims of the alarming violence against women in the county.

The young mother was last seen alive on Sunday and met her brutal death in her own house after an assailant broke in and committed the atrocity.

A report by Citizen TV indicated that Rose Soila was found dead a few metres outside her house. It is believed she was killed on the evening of Sunday.

A local who visited her house found her blood spattered all over the house.

“I looked through the window and saw blood in her house. I then saw the knife a few metres from her house,” the elderly man said.

“That evening, we were together. She came and brought over her child to my place. She left at 6pm and went to the shop. That’s when I last saw her,” another neighbour said.

The slain woman’s sister said Soila died a painful death as the injuries on her body suggested the torture and struggle she underwent.

“She didn’t deserve to die that way even if she had made any mis take against anyone,” she said.
