His running mate JD Vance described the win as the biggest political comeback in the history of the country.

“We just witnessed the biggest political comeback in the history of America. We are gonna lead the greatest economic comeback in the history of the United States of America,” he said.
Their speech followed Trump’s wins in North Carolina and Georgia—two of the most hotly contested states in this election—have boosted his momentum, bringing him closer to the 270 electoral votes needed for the presidency.
