What began as a typical day turned deadly for a diplomatic police officer who was attacked by robbers in Kiambu while on his way to work.

How was the diplomatic officer attacked?
The officer, Stanley Kipterer, left his home at about 4:30 a.m. on Sunday, November 3, and was headed to a nearby Mpesa to deposit KSh 1,500.

According to a report by Citizen Digital, three men followed him and hit him on the head with a blunt object before stabbing him with a sharp weapon.
Due to his injuries, the officer let down his guard, allowing the attackers to take the KSh 1,500 he intended to deposit, along with his mobile phone.
They left him for dead on the side of the road, where passersby discovered him and rushed him to Nairobi West Hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment.
The doctors reported that Kipterer is out of danger and is currently in stable condition.
