Kisumu family devastated as young daughter dies after completing KPSEA exams

In another rather heartbreaking story, a mother from Meru county whose young son passed away before the 2024 KCSE national exams emotionally opened up.

Naomi Kendi, mother to Nicholas Kairithia, gathered the courage and confidence to talk about her son, who was no longer there.

She vividly narrated about her Form 4 son’s illness that led to his death, which began in January 2024.

The heartbroken woman said her son had liver complications, which saw him in and out of hospital until his demise.

His mum said they had been going to the clinic, and he was also given medicine as doctors continued to assess the boy’s situation.

In October, the doctors confirmed they could do nothing concerning Kairithia’s situation, and in November, a day before the KCSE commencement, the young boy sadly passed away.
