Nairobi – Korogocho Member of County Assembly (MCA) Absalom Odhiambo has been feted as the best-performing MCA for the year 2024.
Odhiambo was feted on Saturday, November 2, at the Pinnacle Kenya Award, where he was recognised for his performance.
The outspoken MCA said the award was due to the tremendous development he has undertaken in the Korogocho ward over the past two years.
“I am indeed truly humbled to be recognized and awarded as The Best Performing MCA at the Pinnacle Award Gala. This is as a result of the tremendous development and transformation work I have done in Korogocho in the last 2 years,” Odhiambo said.

The ODM MCA listed some of his achievements, including transparency in the issuance of bursaries.
Odhiambo listed the construction of several roads in the ward, such as Mama Ng’endo and Blue Bar Roads, which he said had opened up the ward.
“Transparent, free and fair bursary distribution, construction of roads ( Mama Ng’endo and Bluebar roads), completion of ECD Center at Ngunyumu, perimeter wall at Ngomongo Level 2, ongoing construction of Korogocho stadium, ICT hub at Daniel Comboni Primary and many more. Thank you, Korogocho, for the opportunity,” he added.
