Well-wishers on social media have rallied behind a young boy who was publicly denied water at an event by two women.

The heartbreaking incident quickly went viral and sparked outrage on social media.
In the undated video, the young boy was seen in a queue at a public event where attendees were to be given food and water.

He was given the food but, for whatever reason, the two young women who were giving out water denied him.

Sensing the hesitation, the young lad walked away as the women broke into sarcastic laughter.
The women’s behaviour struck a nerve, as the incident began circulating online and garnered widespread condemnation and sympathy for the boy.
Since the footage emerged, Kenyans have come together to offer their support, with many pledging to support the boy.
Support has poured in as people across social media shared their disapproval of the women’s treatment of the child.
Most were touched by the youngster’s gentlemanly act of walking away in the face of indifference.
