The mother shared her frustration and grief in a post on Parenting Teenagers Hub for Kenyan Mums and Dads.

She explained that her son, whose whereabouts remain unknown, left the family in suspense by refusing to give a reason for his decision.

With exams set to commence in just a few hours, the mother was deeply troubled by her son’s unexpected decision, leaving her heartbroken and at a loss.

“Someone please tell me it is well. Why at this last minute when exams are just a few hours away?” she wrote, accompanied by tearful emojis and a broken heart.

Her post sparked empathy from other parents and community members, who have rallied with words of support and encouragement.

When did KCSE 2024 exams begin?

The 2024 edition of the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education kicked off on October 22, starting with the main papers.
