A baby who survived a devastating road accident, which tragically claimed three lives, including her mother’s, has been reunited with her father.

Constable Mubanga Chileshe from Woodlands Police Station facilitated the baby’s emotional reunion with her father, Michael Phiri.
Nkani reports that Mr Phiri, deeply moved by the reunion, expressed immense gratitude to the officers.

He disclosed that the experience was both joyous and bittersweet as he simultaneously mourned the loss of his wife in the accident.

Despite the tragedy, he was relieved to have located his daughter, who was among the accident’s few survivors.
Following the incident, the baby was admitted to the hospital, where medical staff reported her condition as stable.
She is currently responding well to treatment.
Staff at the hospital extended condolences to the bereaved families and expressed gratitude to the public for their assistance in reuniting the child with her family.
