Actor Benard Githii Mwangi, aka Mwaiposi, a former teacher in the beloved high school series Tahidi High, has shared his struggle with health.
Why did Mweposi move to Karatina? Nyeri?
During his days as an actor, Mwaiposi was a tall, well-built man who always dressed very well. He was disciplined and always tried to inculcate discipline in his students.

The former Tahidi High relocated to Karatina in Nyeri, where he was trying his luck in farming. He explained that his wife was yet to get back with him, but he was still working on getting his family back.
At the time, Mweposi was pleading with Kenyans to help him get medical assistance for diabetes meds that had made his health deteriorate.

“I was forced to move there because of life’s challenges. I started falling sick; I have been battling diabetes and high blood pressure. Here, I have been trying to to a few things just to better my life,” he said.
Unline in the past, he seemed dishevelled and had lost a lot of weight, which was a result of his health condition

Mweposi talks to wife after decade
In another story, Mr Mweposi was in the news after it emerged that he was struggling to make ends meet.
In an exclusive with TUKO.co.ke, he said that he was saved and speaking to his wife for the first time in ten years.
He, however, insisted that he was not a charity case and was keen to work for his upkeep.
