City lawyer representing cosmetic surgery clinic Body by DesignDanstan Omari has responded to matters concerning Lucy Wambui Ng’ang’a’s death.

The death of Lucy, the wife of businessman Francis Ng’ang’a died days after a surgical procedure at Body By Design.
Mike Sonko and angry youths visited the premises on Thursday, October 31, saying that they were seeking justice for Lucy’s death.

Body by Design, which performed a surgical operation on the late Lucy Wambui, is now accusing its business rivals of being behind a smear campaign to blame them for the death of the influencer.
Through their legal team, Sophie Nekesa and Danstan Omari, said that the death of Wambui did not take place at the facility.
“While we condole with the family of the deceased. The deceased never died in this hospital, let us be clear, and no patient has ever died in this hospital. We assure all customers that this facility has met all the standards required by the medical board.”, they stated.
The two advocates also accused the Kenya Medical and Dentists Board of discriminating against Kenyan-owned facilities.
“How many deaths occurs in hospital will be asking the question of discrimination is it because the faculty is run by Kenyans”,they posed.

The facility has accused politicians of meddling in the running of their activities.
“There is no iota of truth in this. This matter has taken a political angle, politicians are out to make political mileage out of this. This is an international facilty that has customers coming from all over.This is competition between businesses which has taken a political angle”, they insisted.
“…in the company of more than 5,000 goons. We thank the police for moving with speed otherwise this place would have been razed down.
