Addressing the nation during Deputy President Kithure Kindiki’s swearing-in in Nairobi on Friday, November 1, Ruto asserted that he had been left to amplify the workings of the National Executive without the help of his former deputy.
In an apparent plea to Kindiki, Ruto asked him to leverage his eloquence and know-how to inform Kenyans about the agenda and programmes of the government.
“I have become a lonely voice in the executive, especially the presidency, trying to Explain what we are doing, my dear professor; you are eloquent; I need your voice. I am sure you will do that which I have missed for two years,” said Ruto.
