Nairobi – President William Ruto has gazetted the appointment of Musalia Mudavadi as the Cabinet Secretary for the Ministry of Interior.

Mudavadi will hold the post in an acting capacity, taking over from Kithure Kindiki, who awaits swearing-in as the new deputy president.
“Pursuant to Article 152 (5) (a) of the Constitution, Hon. Wycliffe Musalia Mudavadi, E.G.H., Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs, is assigned as the Acting Cabinet Secretary Ministry of Interior and National Administration,” read the notice.
