Nyanza DCI detectives had arrested two women linked to the murder of Willis Ayieko, a Human Resource Manager at Wells Fargo, whose body was discovered in a swamp in the Sabatia area of Siaya county.

An autopsy revealed that Ayieko sustained blunt force trauma to the head.
The suspects were reportedly en route to commit a robbery with violence when police intervened, leading to a confrontation that included gunfire.
During the altercation, a male accomplice managed to escape with gunshot wounds, fleeing into nearby thickets before taking a motorbike.

The police recovered a Ceska pistol and 11 rounds of ammunition belonging to the deceased Ayieko during the arrest.
However, one of the female suspects later died from injuries sustained during the clash, as reported by Citizen TV.
Authorities are now intensifying efforts to apprehend the remaining five members of the suspected gang, which is believed to have been involved in the crime.
