Willis Ayieko: Court Allows Police to Detain Suspect in Murder of Wells Fargo HR Boss for 21 Days

Siaya – The suspect linked to the murder of Wells Fargo Human Resource Manager Willis Ayieko has been detained for 21 days.

On Wednesday, October 30, Victor Okoth was arraigned at Siaya Law Courts over Ayieko’s gruesome murder.

The prosecution made an application to hold the suspect for more days to complete their investigations.

The court agreed with the prosecution and directed the suspect to be remanded in Kisumu for 21 days to allow the probe to be completed.

Where Victor Okoth was arrested

Okoth, was arrested on Monday, October 28, at a hideout in Dandora Phase IV, Nairobi, where he allegedly “rented a residence using proceeds from the crime”

The arrest was facilitated by a coordinated investigation involving DCI’s, CRIB, and Operations units.

Forensic analysis placed Okoth at the scene, leading to his detention at Muthaiga Police Station. Authorities continue to investigate, actively pursuing additional leads and working to identify and apprehend other suspects potentially involved in the crime.
