The hospital noted that it will ensure a smooth transition of all Rongai branch clients to all their other branches for continuity of care.

“To Our Valued clients, we would like to inform you that our Rongai branch has officially closed. Please know that this change does not impact the quality or continuity of your care. We’re fully committed to ensuring a smooth transition for all our Rongai branch clients, with your medical records safely accessible at our other branches,” the hospital said in a statement shared on its Facebook page.

Why Rongai branch was closed?

The hospital noted that the decision was not made lightly and that despite an understanding of the impact it would have on the customers and other stakeholders the external factors were not favourable to continue operations.

“We write to inform you of an important decision regarding our Rongai Hospital branch. Due to unavoidable external business and operational factors, we regret to announce the closure of our Rongai branch, effective 30th October 2024,” the hospital explained.
