Who is Peter Mwangi?

He is a Nairobi driver whose bitter split with his ex-partner went viral. In January, Mwangi came home to an empty house after returning from work.

Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, the 31-year-old Kenyan man revealed his wife (now ex) stole everything, apart from the bed and notified him via a text message that she had gone to start a new life

The soft spoken cab driver and his beautiful wife walked down the aisle on Saturday October 26 at the Karen Golf Club.

Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, Mwangi said he was a friend, a member of the club, paid for the wedding venue, and he spent KSh 350,000 on his big day.

The cab operator noted that he was happily married and had travelled to Diani for their honeymoon.

“We have been together for almost a year now. She was there for me when I was going through a lot after my last relationship failed. I’m happy and at peace.”

Advising couples in toxic relationships, he said:

“Find happiness, respect and most important know what you want.”

Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, the Nairobi man shared his painful story, revealing he met his lover, 23, two years ago.

On June 6, during his birthday, his ex asked if she could sleep over at his place, and he accepted.

Mwenda accepted the request but said things turned violent in the night, forcing him to escape.

He claimed his ex tore his clothes and mattress and left his house in a mess before she left.
