The Competition Authority of Kenya (CAK) is inviting applications for its Young Professional Programme (YPP) and other vacancies.

The government agency revealed that applicants (below 35 years) who succeed in interviews will be hired on a one-year training contract.
“The successful candidates will be under a one-year training contract and will be paid a monthly stipend. Successful professionals may be absorbed into the permanent workforce of the authority based on the availability of a vacancy,” the advert stated.
Requirements and application process for CAK jobs
Requirements:
- Applicants must have a minimum of a master’s degree in law, economics or business-related courses.
- Applicants must be below 35 years.
- Applicants should meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya and obtain clearance certificates from KRA, HELB, EACC, CRB and DCI.
The deadline to submit applications is Tuesday, November 12. Below is the application link:

Career coach Emmanuel Makokha told TUKO.co.ke that young graduates should tailor their CVs to the specific opportunity.
He advised youthful professionals to always include a well-crafted cover letter to complement their application.

Focus on highlighting your academic achievements, relevant coursework, and any projects or assignments that demonstrate your skills.
