In a heart-wrenching scene, photos circulating online have shown a middle-aged man seated in despair beside a stack of house debris.

Jackson Kangogo was captured contemplating his future after his home, valued at approximately KSh 1 million, was demolished.
Baringo Daily News reports that Kangogo, a resident of Kimalel village in Baringo South, was left distraught after his property was reduced to zero.

He revealed that his woes began recently when he received a notice from an unknown individual demanding that he vacate the piece of land.
Despite the case being in court, the house was reduced to rubble before they could find a resolution.
“I have lived on this land for generations, and government records show that his late father is the rightful owner of the land,” said Kangogo.
He requested the government intervene and ensure justice was served, given that he had no other place to call home.
Kenyans reacted with shock to the images of him slumped in despair as he prepared to face an uncertain path ahead.
Many questioned the human impact of such actions, especially where the destruction of homes leaves families vulnerable and without shelter.
Kangogo’s predicament sparked an outpouring of sympathy and concern across social media.
