What did Junet say about being CS?
In a statement obtained by TUKO.co.ke, Junet stated that as much as he loves serving the country in leadership roles, he is not eyeing to serve as Interior Cabinet Secretary.

He described the allegations as unfounded, asserting that he is not among those seeking the position.
“Whereas an opportunity to serve Kenyans in any capacity is always welcome, I wish to inform the public that I am neither one of the people angling for the job,”Junet’s statement read in part.
He also clarified that the ODM party is not seeking to have any other member join the Kenya Kwanza government in that role.
Junet, however, stated that he has taken on the role of minority party leader in the National Assembly, which is also significant in the country.
